About
Copy-ready descriptions.
One-liner
Trip Tunes crafts the perfect playlist for your road trip — exploring the local music scene along your route.
Short description
Trip Tunes makes road trip playlists the way they used to be — crafted by hand and made to share. Enter a few details about your trip and music taste, and Trip Tunes curates a playlist that explores the local music scene and matches your vibe. Preview and edit it, save the tracks locally or to Apple Music, and share mixtapes with friends — no blank tape required.
Long description
No more unraveling cassettes or relying on humans to help you find cool, local music. With Trip Tunes you enter your start and end points, optionally add a vibe and your favorite genres, and the app generates a playlist of at least thirty songs that digs into regional artists and local deep cuts. Preview every track, trim anything that doesn't fit, then keep the tracklist in the app or open it straight into Apple Music. Share your mixtapes with friends — complete with their own cover art — and collect free surprise "gift tapes" from Trip Tunes from time to time. You start with a couple of blank tapes; when they run out, grab more with a quick in-app purchase. Wrapped in a skeuomorphic 80s mixtape design, Trip Tunes turns the drive into the soundtrack.
